To form sushi rice balls, the skills and sense of an expert sushi chef are needed. The ASM 410, which is a compact commercial sushi maker with a turntable system, realizes the skill of the craftsman. It can form a maximum of 2,400 rice balls per hour. The heat retention hopper keeps the proper temperature for rice balls.

  • Apply AUTEX oil spray evenly onto necessary parts and assemble these parts correctly.
  • Turn on the switch. Break sushi rice up with your hands as you put it into the hopper.
  • For safety purposes, close the lid after putting the rice in.
  • Press the start/stop button to start operation.
  • Set the firmness of rice ball using the volume adjustment.
  • This will adjust the firmness and weight.
  • The adjusting range is from 1 to 30 and as a rough guide number 15 provides normal firmness. Formed rice balls are automatically placed on the turntable.
  • For the ASM 410 there is a stop sensor near the turntable. The machine restarts automatically when the rice ball in front of the sensor is removed.
  • Add rice to the hopper when the buzzer beeps and operations temporarily stop.
  • Press the emergency switch in the case of an emergency.
  • For the ASM 410 there are two main functions, continuous forming and single forming.
    1. You can switch them easily depending on your needs. This prevents from over making. Put formed rice balls on the rice tray.
    2. It is also possible to serve sushi pieces directly to customers.

By using resin parts instead of using Teflon coated parts, we were able to make the machine light weight. Daily maintenance after operation is very easy because the machine is very compact and its structure is simple. Wash removable parts and reassemble them to the main body after drying them completely.

The ASM 340L which has a semi manual function is compact and low cost.
